It was a parade of hits for Dave Mueller of the Los Angeles (A) Angels of Anaheim...one right after another...a total of 5 for the day. He ravaged the Minnesota Twins for 5 hits in his 6 at-bats and propelled the Angels of Anaheim to a 12-1 victory.
"Mueller was really good and we were really bad," groaned the Twins manager. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him."
D. Mueller flied out in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit a two-run home run off A. Graff in the 9th.
Mueller is hitting .314 in 2019 with 2 home runs, 13 RBIs and 11 runs scored. He has 32 hits in 102 at-bats, 10 walks and a .372 on-base percentage. Mueller has played in 52 games.
