| Breaking News |  | Monday, June 1st, 2009: Top Rookie of the Month Named by Ruth Edward Frazier of the Honolulu Tsunami collared May's Rookie of the Month honors in the Ruth.
Last month he put up a .412 BA, 42 hits, 3 home runs, 18 RBIs and scored 20 times.
Looking at his season stats, Frazier has compiled a .319 batting average and a .387 on-base percentage, while hitting 4 home runs and driving in 24 runs. |  | Tuesday, May 19th, 2009: López Laces 3 HR Against Provo Three home runs in a game doesn't happen often.
When it does it is something special to celebrate.
And Jorge López of Honolulu can celebrate it.
He is now a member of the select group of players, who have hit three home runs in a single game. He powered three into the stands today at Tidal Wave Stadium against the Provo Loans.
In all he was 4-4 as the Tsunami toppled Provo 14-1, knocking in 4 runs and scoring 4 times.
López told reporters after the game, "It's rare that you actually try to hit a home run. Most of the time you fail, if you really try to hit one. But today I tried on the last one."
His manager added, "He is blessed with a natural home run swing. He gets the ball up in the air."
J. López singled in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off B. Abbotson in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off A. Jones in the 4th, walked in the 6th, walked in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off C. Plemmons in the 9th.
López is hitting .295 this season with 10 home runs, 35 RBIs and 30 runs scored. He has 54 hits in 183 at-bats. |  | Monday, May 11th, 2009: Frazier Raps Long Island for 5 Hits Edward Frazier was on fire today and sparked his club to a 10-9 victory over the Swordfish. The Honolulu first baseman was a tough out and went 5 for 5 against Long Island in a fine hitting display.
"I got my pitches and I connected. They all found the right holes on the diamond. Some days you hit shots and they're right at somebody...and some days they fall in."
E. Frazier singled in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off A. Moreno in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, walked in the 7th, hit an RBI double in the 9th and hit a solo-shot off L. Rivera in the 10th.
