Thursday, September 26th, 2019: Atlanta Left Fielder Hurt
"I'm frustrated right now," said Atlanta left fielder Orlando Sele. "I can't help this team by sitting on the bench or in the training room." Unfortunately for the Braves, that's where he will be spending the next 2 weeks. Sele suffered a strained abdominal muscle into today's game against Baltimore while running the bases. "Believe me," he said, "I won't be out a day longer than I have to be."

This season Sele is batting .300 with 12 home runs and 85 RBIs. In 136 games he has scored 57 times.
Sunday, September 22nd, 2019: Rogers 5-6 Against Atlanta
Toronto right fielder Gordon Rogers put on quite a show at Skydome with a big 5-hit day in the 6-5 victory over the Atlanta Braves.

In the postgame interview, he said with a smile, "Not a bad day at the plate...5-6...wish I could do this more often. It would do wonders for my batting average...and my salary, too."

G. Rogers hit an RBI double in the 2nd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 7th, grounded out in the 9th, singled in the 12th and singled in the 14th.

This year Rogers is batting .269 with 111 hits, 5 home runs, 39 RBIs, 13 walks, .291 OBP and has scored 44 runs.
Friday, September 20th, 2019: Howard Expresses Desire to Leave Braves?
It is unknown at this time if there is any truth to the rumor that Atlanta's Eric Howard has asked his team for a trade. Insiders indicate the right fielder may not be happy with the club management. So far, the team's owners have refused to comment.
