 | Sunday, July 14th, 2019: Big Day for Nichols! Swats 5 Hits! Kevin Nichols was on fire today and sparked his club to a 8-7 victory over the Mets. The Milwaukee shortstop was a tough out and went 5 for 7 against New York (N) in a fine hitting display. "I got my pitches and I connected. They all found the right holes on the diamond. Some days you hit shots and they're right at somebody...and some days they fall in." K. Nichols grounded out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, doubled in the 6th, grounded out in the 7th, singled in the 10th, doubled in the 11th and hit a solo-shot off L. Areytio in the 14th. So far in 2019 Nichols has hit .360 with 7 home runs and 41 RBIs. He has played in 78 games and scored 40 times. |
