 | Sunday, July 14th, 2019: Baltimore Shuts Out Indians Charlie Groth of the Baltimore Orioles gave the Indians a steady diet of fine pitches and he walked off the mound with a complete game shutout. He blanked them 1-0 on 2 hits with a total of 2 strikeouts and 2 walks. The Baltimore manager said, "Groth was on quite a roll. He gets great late movement and he doesn't give in to the hitters." In 2019 Groth has logged 7 wins and 11 losses and struck out 91 batters in 152.1 innings while compiling a 3.90 ERA. |
