 | Thursday, July 4th, 2019: McFadden Super, Shuts Out Los Angeles (A) "I had everything working for me out there. I used every one of my pitches, hit both sides of the plate really well and felt like I could do whatever I wanted." With stuff like that, it was easy for Hugh McFadden of the Mariners to handcuff the Angels of Anaheim 5-0 and come away with a complete game 1-hit shutout. He recorded 5 strikeouts and 2 walks in an impressive performance. Thus far this season McFadden has posted a 6-3 record, started 6 games, struck out 76 batters in 99 innings and compiled a 2.09 ERA. |
