 | Monday, September 29th, 2008: Stampede Shortstop Injured A blow for Kenneth Somin today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 2 weeks with a fractured nose. Somin suffered the injury colliding with a player at a base. Although officials from the Waco Stampede are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Somin's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. In 150 games this year Somin has posted a .326 average and put up these numbers: 21 home runs, 101 RBIs and 110 runs scored. |
