 | Monday, July 15th, 2019: Yankees Pruden to Miss 2 Weeks Watching Robert Pruden getting helped off the field today at Yankee Stadium II, fans of the New York (A) Yankees feared the worst. The news wasn't quite as bad as initially feared, but the starting pitcher will miss 2 weeks with a strained bicep muscle. "We feel we've dodged a bullet. When you see a guy break down like that, you worry right away," a team spokesman said. Pruden suffered the injury throwing a pitch in the game against the Athletics. This season Pruden has a 7-3 record with a 2.87 ERA in 3 starts. |
