"I can't help this team by sitting on the bench or in the training room." Unfortunately for the Vipers, that's where he will be spending the next 6 weeks. Brown suffered a strained bicep muscle in today's game against Waco while throwing the ball. "Believe me," he said, "I won't be out a day longer than I have to be." This year Brown has chalked up a 5.83 ERA with 4 saves. In 53 relief appearances he has put up a 1-8 won-lost mark and struck out 63 batters in 83.1 innings. |
