 | Saturday, September 6th, 2008: Davis Slams 5 Hits for Fargo Bailey Davis really did a number on the Bearcats in the Fargo 11-3 victory. Not just anyone can get 5 hits in 5 at-bats. But Bailey Davis did just that today for the Bomb Dogs and gave his batting average a healthy boost and sparked his club in the win.
"I felt real good in the batter's box today. I had confidence in my swing and knew that it was there and that I could get the job done," the 29-year-old first baseman said after his record-setting performance.
B. Davis singled in the 1st, hit a two-run single in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, tripled in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off D. García in the 8th.
A look at his season totals shows Davis with 17 home runs, .262 BA, .347 OBP, 81 RBIs and 85 runs scored. | |
