 | Monday, September 1st, 2008: Thunder Bay First Baseman August's #1 Rookie Charlie Huffman earned August's Rookie of the Month honors in the Aaron for last month's performance. The boyish Thunder Bay first baseman might be wet behind the ears, but he's proving that he has what it takes to play at this level. Huffman hit .349 with 8 home runs, 29 RBIs and 17 runs scored this past month on his way to winning the award. Thus far this season Huffman has hit .348 with 40 home runs, 136 RBIs and scored 108 times. |
