For his exploits, Shimada was named this week's Aaron Player of the Week award. The Scranton third baseman put up 10 hits in 18 at-bats and 3 home runs while hitting .556 with 9 RBIs and 6 runs scored. Currently Shimada has 25 home runs and a .316 batting average. |
