 | Monday, August 25th, 2008: Ruth Star of the Week Announced Chrissy Jonesie of the Syracuse Storm was locked in all week as he bullied the Ruth pitchers he faced. Jonesie put up some great numbers and hauled in the Ruth Player of the Week trophy. He hit .522 with 1 home run and 6 RBIs. The 20-year-old right fielder also scored 5 runs and for the week went 12-23. His current batting average stands at .310 and he has chalked up 12 home runs and 65 RBIs. |
