 | Saturday, August 23rd, 2008: 5-Hit Barrage by Richards 5 hits in a game doesn't happen every day. Rochester's Brian Richards had a very special day against the Snow Bears when everything came together for him and he did just that -- collected 5 hits in 5 at-bats -- and led the Rochester Rednecks to a 8-6 win at Trailer Park. "I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Richards said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats today. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em." B. Richards hit an RBI double in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, doubled in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th. This year Richards has collected a .246 batting average to date with 122 hits in 496 at-bats, 69 RBIs, 17 home runs and scored 54 times. He has played in 129 games. |
