 | Friday, August 15th, 2008: Lewis Goes 5-5 Against Rochester "It was almost like batting practice. I saw the ball very well and could just about hit it anywhere I wanted." That's what Waco left fielder Jonathan Lewis said to SION reporters after his fantastic 5-5 day against the Rochester Rednecks at Central Texas Stadium. "I got some good counts and used the whole field." The Stampede had a good day, too, and won the ballgame 9-5. J. Lewis singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, singled in the 5th and hit a solo-shot off T. Aguilar in the 7th. This year Lewis is batting .323 with 9 home runs. |
