Saturday, August 9th, 2008: Holy Rollers Third Baseman Hurt
Watching Aaron Armstrong getting helped off the field today at Green Felt Field, fans of the Las Vegas Holy Rollers feared the worst. The news wasn't quite as bad as initially feared, but the third baseman will miss 3 months with a torn tricep muscle. "We feel we've dodged a bullet. When you see a guy break down like that, you worry right away," a team spokesman said. Armstrong suffered the injury throwing the ball in the game against the Dunderheads.

This season Armstrong has banged out 135 hits in 446 at-bats for a .303 average with 3 home runs. He is getting on base at a .373 pace and his totals also include 53 RBIs and 69 runs scored.
