 | Sunday, August 3rd, 2008: Bombers Lundgren Sidelined for 3-4 Weeks "It was kinda freaky. Hopefully, I'll be back in the lineup soon," said a dejected José Lundgren after injuring himself in a game against Waco. The Thunder Bay manager told SION reporters, "He will miss up to 3-4 weeks with a strained achilles tendon." The Bombers will have to decide over the next day or two whether the center fielder will go on the disabled list. Looking at his stats this year, Lundgren has compiled a .301 batting average, while hitting 19 home runs and driving in 86 runs. He has played in 109 games and scored 78 runs. |
