 | Monday, July 21st, 2008: Anchorage-Brooklyn Deal: O'Farrell for The rumor has been going on for a while now, but today it was made official. The Anchorage Snow Bears sent 29-year old minor league closer Samuel O'Farrell and a 5th round draft pick to the Brooklyn Yard Dawgs for a 2nd round draft pick. Officials from both teams seem to be pleased with the deal. This season O'Farrell has notched 2 saves with 27 strikeouts and 7 walks in 32.2 innings while registering a 3.58 ERA and a 1-3 won-lost record. |
