 | Thursday, July 17th, 2008: Yard Dawgs-Loans Deal: Rodríguez for Norris A trade between the Brooklyn Yard Dawgs and the Provo Loans was made official this morning. The Brooklyn Yard Dawgs have sent 22-year old minor league center fielder Gustavo Rodríguez to the Provo Loans in exchange for 21-year old minor league starting pitcher Alex Norris. To date in 2008, Norris sports a 8-5 mark with a 3.55 ERA in 19 starting assignments. He has held the opposition to a .240 batting average and has 88 strikeouts in 131.2 innings. |
