"He was getting ahead of us and keeping the ball off the plate," according to the Rochester manager. "Mitchell kept us confused the whole game." The Waco hurler rang up 4 strikeouts and issued 1 walk in his 8-0 shutout victory. Mitchell has made 19 starts, tossed 130.2 innings, struck out 93 batters and walked 43. His record is 9-6 with a 3.99 ERA and he has limited other teams to a .273 batting average. |
