 | Monday, July 7th, 2008: Waco Blanks Gary Behind Gibson In an almost effortless performance, Norm Gibson of the Stampede shot down the Goats 3-0 on a 3-hit shutout. His skipper said, "Norm was just locating so well and using his pitches...not leaving anything over the plate." Gibson recorded 3 strikeouts and 1 walk in a strong outing. In the postgame press conference, the Gary manager said, "When he needed to make pitches, he elevated his game like he can and we couldn't get a key hit off him." To date Gibson is 6-6 in 18 starts with a 5.28 ERA and has 71 strikeouts in 109 innings. |
