 | Saturday, July 5th, 2008: Taylor Will Miss 1-2 Weeks Wayne Taylor of the Las Vegas Holy Rollers was injured in today's game against Scranton and had to be helped off the field by the trainers. The initial diagnosis is a tender elbow, and he is expected to be out for up to 1-2 weeks. It happened while Taylor was throwing a pitch. "It hurt a lot, to be honest. I just hope it heals soon and I can get back on the field." Taylor has worked 25 innings in 24 relief appearances thus far this season and picked up 16 saves. He has dished out 27 strikeouts and walked 13 with a 2-4 mark and a 3.96 ERA. |
