 | Tuesday, June 10th, 2008: Yard Dawgs Swap Ford to Navigators for Green The Brooklyn Yard Dawgs have parted ways with 40-year old minor league starting pitcher Nick Ford, sending him to the Columbus Navigators for 26-year old minor league closer Kenneth Green. The Yard Dawgs general manager confirmed the deal in an announcement this morning. In 2008, Ford has a 5-7 mark in 12 starts with a 3.40 ERA. He has given up 75 hits in 82 innings, struck out 61 and issued 31 walks. Opposing clubs have compiled a .251 batting average against him. |
