 | Sunday, September 15th, 2019: Great Day for Lee! 5 Hits! Pittsburgh second baseman Oscar Lee put on quite a show at PNC Park with a big 5-hit day in the 12-0 victory over the Washington Nationals. In the postgame interview, he said with a smile, "Not a bad day at the plate...5-5...wish I could do this more often. It would do wonders for my batting average...and my salary, too." O. Lee hit an RBI single in the 1st, doubled in the 4th, doubled in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off M. Mingo in the 8th. In 63 games Lee is hitting .307 this season for the Pirates with 67 hits, 2 home runs, 18 RBIs, 9 walks, .332 OBP and has scored 32 runs . |
