 | Sunday, September 15th, 2019: Julian Thompson Injured, Out of Lineup "I'm frustrated right now," said Texas center fielder Julian Thompson. "I can't help this team by sitting on the bench or in the training room." Unfortunately for the Rangers, that's where he will be spending the next 5 days. Thompson suffered a fractured hand into today's game against Baltimore while making a defensive play. "Believe me," he said, "I won't be out a day longer than I have to be." So far this season Thompson is batting .299 with 7 home runs, 63 RBIs and 66 runs scored. He has 161 hits in 539 at-bats, 41 walks and a .349 OBP. Thompson has played in 132 games. |
