 | Saturday, September 14th, 2019: Arnold Out for 3 Weeks The New York (N) Mets will have to "make do" without Robin Arnold for 3 weeks. He suffered a damaged meniscus (knee) while throwing a pitch in the game today against the Philadelphia Phillies. His teammates, understandably, were upset about losing the reliever. "That's a real blow," one of them said. "But this team is resilient. We know how to deal with adversity." Arnold will miss 3 weeks.
So far this year Arnold has been credited with 1 save, registered a 4.59 ERA and struck out 42 in 49 innings. He also has a 1-1 record. | |
