 | Friday, September 6th, 2019: Pittsburgh Second Baseman Hurt After the end of today's game between Pittsburgh and San Francisco, Celestino Marrero skipped the clubhouse and headed straight for the doctor's office. The second baseman will miss at least 2 months with a strained anterior cruciate ligament.
This year Marrero is hitting .306 with 16 home runs and 68 RBIs to his credit. He has gotten on base at a .392 clip, walked 71 times and scored 67 runs. | |
