 | Monday, August 26th, 2019: Chicago (A) Humbles Atlanta in Shutout In an excellent mound performance, Felix Martinez of the Chicago (A) White Sox whitewashed the Atlanta Braves 1-0 on a 6-hitter. He said after the game, "I had my best stuff and did a good job of mixing up my pitches." The Atlanta manager said, "We just didn't swing the bats well today. Martinez did a good job keeping us guessing." In all, the Chicago (A) hurler rang up 11 strikeouts and no walks in the shutout win. In the current season in 23 starts, Felix Martinez has a record of 13-3 with 167 strikeouts in 185.1 innings and a 1.80 ERA. |
