 | Wednesday, August 21st, 2019: Luis Borges Hurt, Out of Action The Colorado Rockies will lose the services of starting pitcher Luis Borges after he sustained a dead arm syndrome while throwing a pitch in today's game against the Washington Nationals. When asked about the injury, he took a philosophical approach. "Worse things can happen in life," Borges said. "The key now is to stay positive." His trainer said he is expected to be sidelined for the next 2 weeks. This season Borges has compiled a 11-7 record with a 2.94 ERA in 28 starts. |
