 | Monday, August 19th, 2019: Cincinnati's Nickelson Down with Injury Wayne Nickelson of the Cincinnati Reds could be headed for the disabled list after suffering a scratched cornea in a game against the San Francisco Giants. He is expected to miss at least 1-2 weeks. The Cincinnati center fielder was injured making a defensive play. Nickelson said, "Right now I am pretty sore and I don't feel very good at all." A look at his season totals shows Nickelson with these current stats: 21 home runs, .292 BA, .321 OBP, 57 RBIs and 79 runs scored. |
