 | Friday, August 2nd, 2019: Chicago (A) Wins, Shuts Out Yankees Mike Beck of the Chicago (A) White Sox was right on target when he blanked the New York (A) Yankees 1-0, yielded 6 hits and totaled 3 walks and 6 strikeouts. Speaking to SION reporters after the game, Beck said, "I had everything working today and I got some help from my defense, too. They saved my butt a few times." This year Beck has worked 148 innings with 120 strikeouts en route to a 11-4 record and a 2.25 ERA. |
