 | Tuesday, July 30th, 2019: 5-Hit Game for Thompson Julian Thompson of the Rangers was unstoppable in today's 11-2 victory over the Minnesota Twins at The Ballpark at Arlington. He battered them for 5 hits in 6 at-bats. "Boy, I was on the mark today," said the Texas center fielder after the game. "All I had to do was swing, and I connected. It's a great feeling to do this. And besides, 5-6 won't hurt your batting average like 0-5 will." J. Thompson singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, flied out in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 9th. Currently Thompson has 4 home runs and a .298 batting average. |
